ND Age Groups Rnd 2 – Aberdeen

Once again our swimmers stepped up to the mark to compete in Rnd 2 of the ND Age Group Championships in Aberdeen over the weekend of 4-5 March.  PB’s tumbled for all swimmers and Finals loomed for Euan, Louis, Erin, Alex & Emma with the chance to win a prized North District Medal.  Louis made the 50 Free Final finishing in 5th.  Alex qualified for 50 Free finishing 8th.  Emma made 3 Finals, 50 Back – 6th, 50 Free – 7th, and her closest chance of medal came in 100 Fly when she finished in 4th place.   Euan also managed to qualify for 4 Finals;  50 back – 6th, 100 Back – 9th, 100 Fly – 7th and best of all, 2nd in 50 Free to earn him a Silver Medal.  Finally, Erin qualified for 3 Finals – 50 & 100 Breast where she finished 9th & 10th, but there was a much surprised and hard fought Bronze for Erin in 50 Fly.
